Mother’s Day Memory Box

What you'll need:

– Unfinished Wooden Hinged Box
– Floral Paper Napkins
– 2 – 8.5”x11” Colored Cardstock
– Printed 4”x4” Photos
– White Acrylic Paint
– Mod Podge (or other decoupage medium)
– Tape Runner
– Ribbon
– Tissue Paper
– Vinyl Decal that say “our memories”

To begin:

Begin by cutting a floral design out of your napkin, and adding a coat of paint to the top of your box, and letting it dry.

Mod Podge it:

Turn your napkin design over, add a thin layer of Mod Podge, and add it to the top of your box. You can go over it with your finger to smooth it out.

Add a layer of Mod Podge on top of your napkin, let that dry, and then add another one.

Vinyl Time:

Now you can remove the back liner from your vinyl decal design and place it on the box. Press down, and remove the top liner.

Get out the scissors:

cut 2 pieces of standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper in half, so you have 4 equal pieces. Then cut the strips down to 8″ long.

Fold those strips in half. Add adhesive to the bottom of one strip, then adhere the top of another strip to it. Continue gluing strips together until you have one long accordion piece.

Get those photos out:

Add adhesive to the back of each picture, and glue it to the accordion paper strip. Add ribbon around the accordion paper strip, and put it in the box.

And you're done!
