Aside from Christmas, Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday to craft for. Not just because my favorite color is pink, but the nature of Valentine’s Day lends itself to adorable handmade gifts and decorations. When I think of Valentine’s Day, I think of handcrafted decorations, pink and red color combos, and sweet treats. Today I want to bring you a really charming Valentine’s Day wreath that combines all of those Valentine’s Day elements. I am so excited to partner with Woodpeckers Crafts to bring you a Valentine’s Day Cookie Wreath.
Christmas is less than two months away, which means I am so excited to commence with all of the wonderful Christmas crafting and decorating.
For this specific craft I really wanted something with a more rounded look, (like an actual ornament), but alas, working with wood cutouts I don’t have that luxury.
No matter, this is where a crafter’s touch kicks in!
I always knew colorful sharpies were fun (I actually keep a secret stash of them in my desk drawer), but who knew those simple permanent markers could make such lovely art?
Renewing an old sample craft
Back in the infancy of Woodpeckers, my job sometimes included designing samples, and crafting them, and taking photos of them with my home camera. This lovely wreath idea was born in those good old-fashioned days 🙂
With Valentine’s Day around the corner I thought it would be so much fun to honor our friendships with a DIY Galentine’s Day Party. To inspire todays DIY party décor, I found these charming heart cutouts and Love Bird Messenger cutouts from Woodpeckers Crafts. I especially love how the Love Bird Messenger cutouts from Woodpeckers Crafts are the perfect addition to any tablescape as the cutouts make the cutest napkin holders!
I am so excited to share some fun and festive DIY Christmas decor with you today. I think tree villages are a whimsical and unexpected twist on Christmas decorations. Bottle brush trees get a lot of love during the holiday season, but I found some really charming trees through Woodpeckers Crafts that may just be my new favorite way to create a Christmas village.
